Schedules

Schedules run your flows automatically on a recurring basis, without anyone opening the editor or calling the API. Use schedules for jobs that need to happen on a fixed cadence — nightly report generation, periodic data syncs, or routine agent check-ins.

The Schedules page lists every scheduled run in your current workspace, so you can review, pause, or remove them from one place.

info

Schedules are scoped to your active tenant and workspace. You only see schedules that belong to the workspace you are currently in.

View your schedules

  1. In the Orbis Studio header, click your profile icon and select Settings.
  2. Click Schedules.

Each schedule shows:

  • Name — the label given to the schedule when it was created.
  • Cadence — how often the flow runs, shown either as a cron expression (for example, Cron: 0 9 * * *) or as a fixed interval (for example, Every 3600 seconds).
  • Status — whether the schedule is currently Enabled or Disabled.

If no schedules exist yet, the page shows No schedules found.

Create a schedule

Schedules are created from the flow you want to run, not from the Settings page.

  1. Open the flow in the editor.
  2. In the editor toolbar, open the schedule option and configure the cadence (a cron expression or an interval).
  3. Save the schedule.

The new schedule then appears on the Schedules page.

Enable or disable a schedule

On the Schedules page, use the toggle next to a schedule to turn it on or off. A disabled schedule stays in the list and keeps its configuration, but it does not run until you re-enable it. Disabling is the safest way to pause a job temporarily without losing its settings.

Delete a schedule

To remove a schedule permanently, delete it from the Schedules page. Deleting a schedule stops all future runs and cannot be undone — recreate it from the flow editor if you need it again.
